Rising Sun Trailer Hire
This business was born out of a necessity to combat an ever-changing agricultural industry. We identified a demand for quality hire trailers and a reliable, personal service. In 1999 we started with a handful of trailers, hiring them out locally. Since then we’ve never looked back, and eighteen years later we now hire to an established customer base of farmers and contractors all over the country.

Frequently asked questions - Rising Sun Trailer Hire
What do I need to hire a trailer?
To hire a trailer from Rising Sun Trailer Hire, you will need a valid UK driving licence, proof of address, and in most cases a credit or debit card for the security deposit. Some companies also require proof of insurance.
Do I need special insurance to tow a hired trailer?
Most UK car insurance policies include third-party cover for a towed trailer, but not all cover the trailer itself for damage or theft. It is worth checking your policy before hiring - the hire company can often offer additional cover for peace of mind.
What size trailer do I need?
Rising Sun Trailer Hire stock a range of trailer sizes. As a guide: a 6x4 ft trailer suits garden waste and light loads; 8x5 ft covers most DIY jobs; 10x6 ft and above is suited to plant machinery and vehicles. Contact Rising Sun Trailer Hire to confirm availability and dimensions.
Can I hire a trailer for just one day?
Yes - Rising Sun Trailer Hire offers daily hire. Weekend (Friday to Monday) and weekly rates are also available and often more economical if you need longer. Check with Rising Sun Trailer Hire directly for current pricing.
